Ujaruk/Søg/Search

If you wish to conduct research in the archives at Greenland National Archives, you can receive information about the archives and what kinds of material is available for research from an archivist. Archival material younger than 80 years containing information about individuals cannot be accessed. It is possible, however, to apply for permission to conduct research in this material.

It is always best to start your research by taking contact to the National Archives in advance to find out what kinds of material suits your research interests, if they are available and when you wish to visit the National Archives.

If you are unable to visit the archives it is some cases possible to commission an archival study by one of the archivists in the National Archives. For further information visit the page Archival Studies.
